Privacy policy

This policy explains what Settlement Deadlines, operated by LLMeet LLC, collects and how we handle it.

What we collect

If you sign up for the weekly deadline email, we collect your email address, the date and time you signed up, and whether you have confirmed your subscription. That is the only personal information we collect. You can use the rest of the site without giving us any information.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking scripts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to check that a visitor is not an automated bot.

How we use your email address

We use it only to send the newsletter you asked for (after you confirm) and messages about your subscription. We do not use it for anything else.

We do not sell or share personal information

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising or profiling, as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act. We give it only to the service providers listed below, who process it on our behalf.

Service providers

• Cloudflare hosts the site and the database where newsletter signups are stored. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses and the pages requested, and gives us aggregated traffic statistics. We do not use this to identify visitors.
• Our email delivery provider will send the newsletter and confirmation emails. We have not started sending email yet; we will name the provider here before we do.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Signups that are never confirmed are deleted automatically after 30 days. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address, we delete it within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

Every newsletter will include an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@settlementdeadlines.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the owner of the email address.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date below.
